Konami RTC-RAM Replacement Bundle

If your game that runs on Konami Hornet, Python 1, System 573, or Viper hardware has a dead or dying RTC-RAM chip, it can cause a lot of issues. Replace it with our pre-programmed bundle kit of all the hardware you will need to make it work! Some soldering work is required to replace the stock chip, but we include a socket to make future replacements much easier!

This bundle kit contains all the items you need to completely replace and future-proof your Konami arcade systems that use an RTC-RAM chip, including:

• Hornet
• Python 1
• System 573
• Viper

To replace your factory RTC-RAM, you will need to desolder and remove your old RTC-RAM chip on your board and then install the included 28-pin DIP socket. You can then install the new chip.

This bundle kit includes the following:

  • M48T58Y-70MH1F Real Time Clock IC
  • M4T32-BR12SH1 Battery

The adapter, real time clock IC, and battery all come pre-assembled.
